The Middle East kicked off the festival at Club de Ville as part of BrooklynVegan's showcase. Check out the photos here and MORE photos and video here.

Nialler9 checked out the band during their PASTE Magazine showcase at The Galaxy Room and shot two videos of the band.

"Sometimes….very rarely.. but sometimes, a band surpasses your already high expectations. The Middle East gave me shivers and left me teary eyed just watching them at the Paste Magazine party on Thursday."
-Nialler9

"I quickly split after her set to catch the tail end of The Middle East, where they managed to pulverize their final song ("Blood") in an epic Arcade Fire-style."
-Fudge.org

"The Darkest Side' is a lilting lullaby from many-membered aussies @TheMiddleEast, who are not easy to google."
-Esquire Twitter

A MASSIVELY WARM "thank you" to everyone who came to check out the band. Your support did not go unnoticed!
