A Benefit concert featuring the music of "The Who".

Twenty artists will perform songs, including Patti Smith, Frank Black, Bobby McFerrin... And Asaf Avidan (of Asaf Avidan and the Mojos), the man whose voice has been compared to Janis Joplin and Robert Plant, and

who had been called "a new Messiah" by Rolling Stone magazine. Asaf will be accompanied by the Mojos' cellist, Hadas Kleinman.

This program is part of the Russian Sundays series

Since Arriving in New York in 1999, Anat Cohen has become one on the primary voices of her generation on both the tenor saxophone and clarinet displaying her fluency in jazz, classical music, Brazilian choro, Argentine tango, and Afro-Cuban styles.  Delight in a special performance that includes Russian-themed works and improvisations.

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, a group of New York Broadway artists come down to New Orleans to re-open the doors of the storm-damaged St. Mark's Community Center, with a production of Once On This Island. Hilla Medalia's inspiring documentary captures the lives of the kids and crew as they come together as a company, and create hope and purpose in the midst of devastation and despair.

How They Did It: Turning "Be-Tipul" into HBO's "In Treatment

The rich dramatic possibilities of psychotherapy are at the heart of the powerful Israeli TV series Be-Tipul, which has become HBO's award-winning In Treatment. The team behind these shows reveals what it took to adapt Be-Tipul for a domestic audience. They'll analyze the challenges of marketing Israeli television in America and discuss what both programs teach us about psychotherapy and its depiction in popular culture.
